Every session runs for 60 minutes, live, at 5:00pm UK.
15 min • Theory
Boris introduces the topic of the week — an opening idea, a tactical theme, an endgame technique, or a key strategic concept.
30 min • Puzzles
You solve guided exercises on your own Lichess board, moving the pieces yourself. No notation needed — just drag and drop.
15 min • Q&A
Ask questions and go through a quick game review together, so the ideas stick and you know what to practise next.

We send you a link each week. Click it a few minutes before 5pm and you're in — see and hear Boris live, and ask questions any time.
Lichess Interactive Studies
You solve puzzles by moving pieces on your own board. Because it's interactive, complete beginners can take part straight away — no need to read or write chess moves.
